Last night was cinema night. Eidolon_UK , simon and myself went to see Tron Legacy. I loved it. The story isn't much. In fact it feels like a remake more than a sequal but let's be fair you're not going to see Tron legacy for the story. The SFX are fantastic and the action sequences are top notch. Dad had another diabetic fit in his sleep again last night at 3am. Took the paramedics an hour to bring him out of it but he is ok now. Got home and then woken up at 7 by Midnight and I haven't got any sleep since. No gaming tonight, just a very early night I hope.

Lost tonight's Warhammer campaign game against scion_of_change though to be fair I expected to. scion_of_change is now in the position of claiming victory in the campaign as I don't know that anyone can catch him up easily. Warhammer Fantasy really isn't my game I don't think ( Read more... )

Thankfully Midnight didn't need any teeth extracting. The dentist said that it was a bacterial infection and they have trimmed the affected bits of gum back. She is going to be on antibiotics for a few days just in case but is otherwise fine. The bill was rather excessive though. Going to be paying that back to the folks for a few weeks.

Has had next to no sleep because of Midnight. Because her op is today she couldn't have anything to eat after midday yesterday and when I got back from the Call of Cthulhu game all I had all night was Midnight mewing for food or to be let out. Neither of which I could do ( Read more... )

Just got back from the vets with Midnight. It was her annual checkup but she has to go back next week for a dental operation. Her rear teeth at the top on both sides have worn away and the gums are red raw. Vet says that due to her age its most likely a genetic complaint with domestic cats. Exactly as I predicted I have managed about three hours sleep and was then awoken by Midnight wanting breakfast. Hopefully it's cool and I'll last the day.

Now to prepare for the day out to London to visit Leisure Games. In my last post did I mention they have balloons? I hope so. Really lookin forward to this even as I hate London.

I've managed to rope Muffin in to helping me sort, tidy and clean the apartment. Yesterday we managed to get the bedroom (aka the junk room) out. Still needs a few things finding a permanent home but it looks a damn sight better than it did. Somepoint soon he's going to help me do the living room and then the kitchen/bathroom.
